TerraZoner · Precision Ag Zone Mapping Made Simple
Zones you can explain.
When a grower asks why that corner got its own zone, you have a real answer: the imagery, the years it's performed, or the shape of the ground. Not a map you're taking on faith.
Nothing to install. Sentinel-2 public imagery back to 2015, included with membership.
The map is allowed to say no.
Performance Zones grades every part of the field on the same fixed scale, season after season. A field that performs alike doesn't get forced into five colors just to give you something to look at — it comes back in one near-average band, and the result says so in plain words: "Most of this field performs alike. Only small areas stand apart from the field average."
The questions change. The evidence doesn’t.
The years
Performance Zones
Performance Zones compares every part of the field with the field average across the seasons on record, graded on the same scale on every field, so Below Average means the same thing on every farm. One odd season can't drag the lines on its own, and a uniform field can honestly come back as one or two zones.
The ground
Landscape Response and terrain refinement
Elevation loads on its own for fields in the US and Canada wherever public LiDAR covers them, or you supply RTK-quality points. Landscape Response reads the whole field's position, high, low and slope, against how each spot has performed. Or refine one poor zone into its wetter and drier halves and preview the split before anything changes.
This week
In-Season, included
In-Season pulls fresh satellite scenes for a field whenever it needs a look, and after a flood, hail or drought it puts a severity call on every acre with a report ready for the grower or the adjuster.
From field boundary to finished zone map.
Draw the boundary
Draw it or upload it, and TerraZoner pulls the imagery for that field automatically.
Pick a method
Run one-click Performance Zones once you've got the seasons for it, pick the method and count yourself with Composite Zones, or bring in terrain where the ground earns a say. Any of them can be merged down to the count the job needs.
See what the map says
Performance Zones grades on the same fixed scale every time, so a field that performs alike comes back in one band instead of five. The zone history under the result shows how often each zone repeated across the seasons on record.
Tidy it and use it
Fix the odd stray zone by hand, then export the shapefile, a rate map, or take the KMZ into the field on a phone.
The map is half the job. What you hand over is the other half.
Agronomists and crop consultants who put their name on a zone map. It's built for someone who has to stand behind the lines in front of a grower.
- A two-page PDF report, a KML for Google Earth with every zone coloured and clickable, shapefile, GeoTIFF and a KMZ picture of the map, every time a zone map is finished.
- Rate maps for up to six products, with the acres each rate covers tagged beside it.
- Tap to place sample points zone by zone on the finished map, then export them as a KML your GPS can navigate.
- Save and restore full field projects, not just the exported files.
Everything on every membership. No per-acre charges, ever.
Every zone method, the terrain tools, In-Season with damage estimates, and every export come with every plan. Run as many fields and seasons as the work calls for. There's no usage tier and nothing held back for a higher plan; the plans differ by seats, nothing else.
The membership is C$1,500 a year, about US$1,100.
